From October 12 to 15, 2026, the China International Brew & Beverage Processing Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CBB 2026), Asia's leading event for the liquid food industry, was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The exhibition brought together more than 900 leading enterprises from China and abroad, covered an exhibition area exceeding 100,000 square meters, and attracted over 60,000 professional visits from around the world, spanning the entire value chain from brewing, filling and packaging to digital manufacturing.

Against the global trends of carbon reduction and lightweighting, PET bottles remain the dominant form of beverage packaging, and the energy efficiency of blow molding equipment directly determines production line costs. According to industry research, the global PET blow molding machine market was valued at approximately USD 2.8 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 4.6 billion by 2033, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.8%, with the Asia-Pacific region leading the market with a 38.7% share. In China, industry research institutions estimate that the automatic hollow blow molding machine market reached RMB 8.63 billion in 2025, up 8.7% year on year, and is expected to grow to RMB 9.5 billion in 2026.

In the blow molding machine section, infrared heating tubes—the core heating elements of preform heating ovens—emerged as a "hidden track" where equipment manufacturers compete on energy efficiency and quality. Representatives of Linyi Lanjing Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. observed at the exhibition that the company's infrared heating tubes were widely adopted in the heating ovens of multiple blow molding machine exhibitors, demonstrating a shift from "component supplier" to "standard equipment configuration" in industry collaboration.

According to the company, the preform heating oven is one of the most energy-intensive stages in the blow molding process, and the radiation efficiency of the infrared heating tubes directly determines energy consumption and preform quality. Lanjing Optoelectronic's white-plated infrared heating tubes feature a white ceramic reflective coating sintered onto one side of the quartz tube, which efficiently reflects backward radiation toward the heating direction. This design delivers a total radiation efficiency 15%–25% higher than standard quartz tubes, maintains a circumferential temperature difference of preforms within ±3°C, and can reduce the defect rate by 1–3 percentage points (per the company's technical documentation). The mid- and near-infrared wavelengths emitted are highly matched to the absorption peaks of PET materials, enabling uniform heating across the preform wall thickness, and are suitable for medium- and high-speed blow molding lines with a capacity of 10,000–30,000 bottles per hour, helping beverage companies achieve energy savings and quality upgrades.

Founded in 1976, Lanjing Optoelectronic has been dedicated to quartz glass materials for nearly five decades, building a full industrial chain from high-purity quartz sand to finished heating tubes. The company holds 30 authorized patents, including 14 invention patents, and its products have passed international certifications including GS, CE, RoHS and UL. It provides supporting products for renowned brands such as Samsung, HP and Pantum, with a sales network covering more than 100 countries and regions. At CBB 2026, a full-industry-chain event, Chinese infrared heating components are empowering the global liquid food packaging industry to upgrade toward greener and smarter manufacturing.
