Lanjing Optoelectronics Deepens Strategic Cooperation with North-American Disinfection Leader, Ozone-Free Quartz Tubes Empower Multi-track Disinfection Equipment

Recently, Linyi Lanjing Optoelectronic has launched a new round of in-depth project cooperation with a leading benchmark enterprise in the U.S. disinfection industry. Leveraging high-performance ozone-free quartz glass tubes, the company supplies core optical tubes for the customer’s three major business tracks: water treatment, air purification and surface disinfection, continuing their more than 20-year-long supply-chain partnership.
The cooperation between the two parties dates back to 2005. In the early stage, the collaboration focused on the supply of standard ozone-free quartz glass tubes, building a solid foundation of supply-chain trust. In 2025, both sides kicked off an upgraded in-depth strategic cooperation. Joint material development was carried out for the stringent working conditions of the North-American market, driving second-curve business growth. Lanjing’s ozone-free quartz glass tubes have been massively integrated into the customer’s complete-product lines.
As a top player in the North-American UV disinfection sector, the enterprise covers water treatment, air purification and surface disinfection. Its products are widely deployed in municipal water supply, HVAC duct disinfection for buildings, and mobile room disinfection devices for hospitals. Water-treatment equipment imposes the strictest requirements on spectral control. Conventional ozone-generating quartz lamps output both 185 nm and 254 nm wavelengths. The 185 nm band triggers oxygen to produce ozone, which corrodes chambers and sealing components during long-term operation and raises equipment maintenance costs. Lanjing’s titanium-doped ozone-free quartz tubes deliver complete cutoff of the 185 nm ozone-generating band while retaining the high-transmittance germicidal peak at 254 nm. Microorganisms are inactivated purely by UV radiation with no ozone by-products.
